Armesto är ju en inte helt okänd historiker faktiskt. Har för mig att jag vid ett svagt ögoblick i mitt liv läst hans biografi över Columbus. När blev en historiker nedslagen av polis senast i Sverige? Egentligen måste det ju tolkas som en svaghet för historikerskrået i detta land att vi så sällan blir nedslagna av polisen. Sannolikt har det väl att göra med att de stålar vi tjänar kommer direkt från statsmakten..och att vi aldrig går mot röd gubbe, eller?
